I've heard that Panisonic are bringing out a CD and DVD playing Gamecube called the QCube or Q for short. It sounds just like the thing to beat the PS2 plus it looks really cool. I know it will hopefully be realesed in Japan before Christmas but I really want to know when it will be relesed here and how much it will cost? I also want to know when the gamecube will be relesed and how much it will cost because I read that the price and release date were to be announced on the release of the gamecube in the USA but i've seen no sign of this. If anyone knows the answers to my Questions could they please reply or if they just want to talk about the gamecube or other stuff then send too.

I read in the Nintendo Official Magazine that there was just no word on when Q would be released but if it isn't being released in britain that would really suck.

Sadly, I doubt we'll see it over this side of the waters...

It is doubtful it'll come to UK or even the USA. Panasonic may bring it over if sales in Japan are very good, then they may see how it does in USA, and if it succeeds there it may come to the UK. But so far there are no plans, and it does seem very unlikely at this time.

I heard something about that Q thing.....IT IS TRUE!!! But it's not supposed to come out till 2003 I think??? I pretty sure it's not 2002, definitley not the same ime as the GameCube's launch date. It would also probably cost twice as much!!

Panasonics Qcube website looks good (Its in Japanese), sadly my Japanese friend is no longer around so I dont know what it says! Its very unlikely that iit will come out over here, Just like the 64DD and many other things that only come out in Japan, even if they do do well. If was released over there would be no point, because nearly everyone who wants a DVD player will have one of some sort by then. As it is like ly to come out about 2 years after Japan, and thats if we are lucky!
