I was sat down the other day doing absolutely nothing bored out of my head and i thought to myself 'i think i'll go and play on splinter cell'. Then that's when it hit me, do we actually play games because we are bored or because we enjoy them?
Personally when i'm playing a game i do enjoy it and sometimes get to engrosed and forget what time it is but what actually causes me to play games in the first place boredem do i hear you say? So get this one, if we all never got bored and always had something to occupy our minds would the games industry exist? and also why did the games industry start up in the first place? Just think about it and give me your idea's.
