Seven for the Dwarf-Lords in their Halls of Stone
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
And One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne.
In the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, one Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.
In the Land of Mordor, where the Shadows lie.
Just felt like telling you all that. Aren't you grateful.
"Open, in the name of Mordor!"
When evening in the Shire was grey
his footsteps on the hill were heard
before the dawn he went away
on journey long without a word
From Wilderland to Western shore
from northern waste to southern hill
through dragon-lair and hidden door
and darkling woods he walked at will
With Dwarf and Hobbit, Elves and Men
with mortal and immortal folk
with bird on bough and beast in den
in their own secret tongues he spoke
A deadly sword, a healing hand
a back that bent beneath it's load
a trumpet-voice, a burning brand
a weary pilgrim on the road
A lord of wisdom throned he sat
swift in anger, quick to laugh
an old man in a battered hat
who leaned upon a thorny staff
He stood upon the bridge alone
and Fire and Shadow both defied
his staff was broken on the stone
in Khazad-dum, his wisdom died.
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king

Both by Sean Bean (GBUH) who just rules. :-D
YEAH! SEAN BEAN! I've met him y'know...
;-)
Hobbiton hill
Gandalfs ride
Took drive
Elronds rest
There are some more but I cant remember them
"There is evil there that never sleeps."
"The weapon of the enemy is a gift. Let us use it against him."
Both by Sean Bean (GBUH) who just rules. :-D

Well I am a perfectionist (when it comes to film lines anyway) so I feel I must correct you.
'Tis not 'lifetime', just 'life'.
I really have to stop doing that or I shall gain many (more)enemies. :-D
Classic Tolkein.
Of him the minstrels sadly sing,
The last whose relam was fair and free
Between the mountains and the Sea
His lance was long, his sword was keen,
His mighty helm afar was seen
The endless stars of Heaven's Field,
Were mirrored in his silver shield.
Yet long ago he rode away,
And where he lay no one can say,
For into darkness fell his Star
In Mordor where the shadows are.
Or POP in forum language ;-)
As said by Gandolf the grey in one of the ring books.
