I purchased a Beamer ATX Middle Tower Case P4 compatible, then a few days later an Intel Motherboard D850MD. Unfortunately the motherboard doesn't fit into the case. the motherboard also has 4 USB ports whereas the case only has two apertures for USB. What motherboard should I buy to fit into my case?. Looking at the documents the D850MV also has 4 USB. Ports.

Thanks for the info C.b. when you say backing plate I assume you are meaning the I/O Shield.

The intel 850 md should has no trouble fitting into the beamer case, you have to use the supplied backing plate which comes with the motherboard i know this as i have used them myself in the beamer case and had no problem, but if i was you i would go for the 850 mv as it has more than 3 pci slots??

Why not send the midi tower case back and exchange it for a desktop unit case?
