First to receive the 'Smackdown' was Ali, who'd given the Notables the job, not the option, of choosing the day's GAD;s and FAD. A frying pan was almost enough to finish him off, but a swift shot to the head with Ali's own Origin of Symmetry CD did the job. Tony went on and on about how he pays Ali £16,000 a year and for what. Ali, a Sony die-hard, didn't quite think it was that much, but Tony reassured him that the figure was correct but he only received £12,000 because Fiona, who Ali once courted, was a Ninty - and she controlled the accounts... :D
Loki didn't get away clean either... his new job was to be Ali's PA, but nooooo... 2 player Time Crisis 2 and now Pro Evolution Soccer was obviously more important than the state of the forums... he hadn't banned anyone for ages, and there were loads of spammers! He sent Meka a couple of hundred through the post to make sure he'd banned enough people to keep Ali and Bob happy. What happened to Loki wasn't as bad, but his copy of'HowtobeagoodPA' didn't make it either... Tony must have broken it.... across his head!
Tony later realised that violence doesn't solve everything.... it's perfect for relieving stress, and at least the e-sommerce team don't have to listen to Hypermusic and New Born all the time; But Tony loved his team, and he loved his Notables... except Sheepy... he was still mad at him for blabbing to the masses. Tony has been in talks with Dringo and his Notable hunting team... Tony wasn't quite sure if it was a team, seeing as most of them shared recipies and took extreme ironing holiday weekends, but Dringo wasn't into all that... So Tony hired him, but fired him 30 seconds after when he told Tony again that he wanted to be a Notable.
Next, Tony employed an 'out-of-company' fighting woman... called Phil Mepants... Her job was to partol the hallways, making sure no-one messed about, and that all PlayStation 2s, Import Gamecubes and GBA's were switched off, locked in a cupboard, and guarded by a mercat until work finished. Why are you laughing? Mercats are bloody mental! But well, Phil didn't last long either... Ali told her that there was a man in the room next to his that was playing all three consoles at once, and even had a Dreamcast on his desk where his Computer should be! Phil went in but was attacked by Bob, the Freeola... his method of beating her unconscious with a fire extinguisher was a little unconventional, but hey, at least the Mercats had lunch!
Tony had tried everything... Violence, Violence and Violence, and he was all out of ideas... He then thought that the way to get the employees working again, was to pay the remaining Notables (Sniper died, dunno how), more than the employees were so they didn't do the employees job... he didn't have the cash, so he sold Lotus Elise #537 in Metallic Blue, with Sport Suspension and Red-Splat interior to Andrew Hunt... where he got the money from, no-one knows for sure, but we think he sold his girlfriend to a Russian banker. Anyway, Tony's plan didn't quite work, seeing as the Notables spend the money... FM bought an Import X-Box, Meka delivered leaflets plugging the Gamecube to all the houses and high-rise flats in Cambridge, and Ant, Grix and Goatboy went to the pub, and hogged the JukeBox. Sheepy and RBS drank theirs away, while er-no boosted his collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
Tony had given up... getting Ali to work was like asking Robbie Coultrain dodge raindrops... it just wasn't possible. Bob was just as bad... and as for Andrew Hunt, the berk.
Tony logged on to the forums to laugh at more of Game's stupid posts, Meka's Nintendo rants and Bonus's Tech arguments... with himself. To his surprise, Ali was up-to-date with the Gameaday list, Loki had fired more people than that Grix had written wierd posts and The customer service was great! He phoned Ali to ask him how, but Ali didn't reply... He just laughed... then slid down his pole to the basement, where Dringo was doing all the work...
"You wan't to be a Notable?" Said Ali... "Then Get WORKING! - Bwrahahahaha!"
So there you have it... the employees of SR's e-commerce team laze about even more... Dringo does all the work in the hope that he'll get a Notable wild-card like Sheepy and RBS... Everybody's happy... except Wookiee, who keeps on crying about the crappy Silent Hill 2 storyline...
The outcome?
SR Team: Don't do any work, still.
Tony: Lost loads of money, for Nothing.
Andrew Hunt: Has new Lotus.
Dringo: Working hard, with the 'promise' that he'll be a Notable.
Ali: Having fun playing PS2. Minus copy of MUSE album.
Regulars: Didn't have a clue to begin with.
Notables: Fine
Sheepy: Banned
Meka: Laughing
Sniper: Dead.
Game: Writing mildly amusing topics, with no idea of how to portray humour in writing, since today.
