Those little things you might have noticed whilst playing a Resi game that didn’t quite make sense, here goes…

In the original Resident Evil game…

Who lit all the candles in the mansion?

Where do all the scientists sleep?

How did they get 6 sharks into an underground lab in the middle of a forest without anyone noticing?

Who leaves a knife in the bottom of a bath filled with water?

When the mansion is hit by a virus that turns people into zombies, who thinks of locking loads of doors just to inconvenience you?

If Lisa Trevor is so strong, how come she can’t break out of her chains?

Why is there so many dogs and no dog food?

What do the huge spiders eat?

Wasn’t it obvious that having a 60-foot long snake would spell trouble for them?

Why does a mansion have mines underneath? Surely it would collapse!

No matter how long you play for, it is always nighttime!

Why does the painting room have no windows? Natural light is the best painting light!

Why does a zombie with ‘the urge to feed’ hide in a cupboard?

Why don’t the zombies realise that 2 STARS members wont feed them all?

How come Barry is always behind a locked door?

How did they get the piano into the piano room when the hallway is that small?

How does Richard get bitten by Yawn when it's behind a locked door, with the key hidden behind a clock which is only accessible by playing the piano and switching the emblems?

Who named the snake “Yawn”?

WHO RIGS A COFFIN TO FOUR MASKS... HONESTLY?!

If Jill is so smart, why can't SHE fix a doorknob?

If Jill is so smart, why can't SHE fix a doorknob?

Why does a key take up as much space as an assault shotgun? Doesn't Chris of Jill have any POCKETS for them?

Why do Barry and Jill think it's such a GREAT idea to split up all the time?

Why would Wesker send Chris to investigate gunshots with only a knife when Jill is RIGHT THERE with a gun?

Why is it that none of these "scientists" ever thought to spray themselves with first aid spray and not become zombies?

How come there is a transparent creature in the fountain?
If it is transparent, surely they wont be able to see it?

Why cant Chris or Jill shoot the lock off a door?

If George Trevor was trapped down in his 'grave' and couldn’t get out, why didn’t he check the grave with the button on it. It took me one look at the grave and it told me there was a button. He was stuck down there for days and didn’t notice the button??

Why is a magnum considered more powerful than a grenade launcher?

If these S.T.A.R.S members are specially trained, why is it so hard and why do you have to be so close to take a headshot?

Why doesn't Ken turn into a Zombie, even though he's had his throat ripped out by one...

How was an amazing virus such as the T-virus developed in a tiny little lab like the one below the mansion?

Why so many puzzles? I don’t think old man Spencer would want to fight a snake, and do other stuff just to get to his tool shed.

If the way to get to the laboratory is filled with water, why aren't the electronics fried?

In a lab with such difficult work such as creating biological damaging viruses, how come you done see ONE single employee of the month award?

Who keeps resetting the pushable furniture?

How come the S.T.A.R.S team only have one lighter and one lock pick between them?

How come there isn’t a driveway to the mansion? How would anyone find it?

Why is there a helipad yet no helicopter?

In Resi Zero…

Why does the evil guy look like a final fantasy character?

How come the train is originally derailed yet starts up again?

Why doesn’t Billy even attempt to take his handcuffs off?

What does Tyrant do between escaping the labs and being in a glass case in Resi 1?

How come the monkeys are so ugly?

Who the hell makes a giant centipede thing?

Why a cable car? Stairs are SO much easier!

Who puts a key in a chamber filled with poison gas?

General Questions…

How come almost all STARS members can play the piano?

Why was the movie nothing like any of the games?

How come Resi games have Helipads?

Why do the STARS members insist on splitting up so often?

Doesn’t anyone think of calling for reinforcements at any point in the series?

You missed out a few questions Kyz,

How do the STARS members know their finished with a key? why do they know exactly when to disregard it?

If STARS members go through vigorous training to pass, how come they cant run with a gun?

Why can you only type the location, your name and a number on an ink ribbon? surely it would cost a novelist millions to type something!

Why does Jills hat never fall off?

Actually a lot of them make perfect sense.

Trucks do have lights you know, it is perfectly feasible to drive a truck containing a shark through the forest to the mansion.

The reason there is no driveway is because the mansion is supposed to be a SECRET.

You have played Resi Zero, so you should know that the original testing with the progenitor virus was carried out on insects, bugs etc. Hence the large spiders, centipede. Although the main organism was the leech.

As for the ginat snake, it was either another experiment or a snake from the forest got into the mansion and was affected by the T-Virus.

There are several Tyrants.

What's wrong with a cable car? Besides, it would have taken 30 minutes to walk down stairs of that length.

Nobody left a knife in the bath in purpose, when people begin turning into zombies it's understandable the remaining people would want to protect themself, evidently for the guy in bath a knife wans't enough to save him.
There probably is dog food, there are many cupboards and drawers in the game you never open.

Evil Corporations don't give employee awards.

Because Barry is being forced to cooperate with Wesker, he has been given a master key, but he must lock them again afterwards. A better question would be why Jill never asks Barry how he gets into the rooms without the key.

The rest have been answered.

They would walk home through dark woods with no paths in the pitch blackness. I think not!

Trucks that are able to drive between trees in a dark forest...

Shooting accurately would be something a STARS member would be trained to do in all situations.

No they don't, they are the living dead and dont need to breathe or anything!

The old workers of the facility, the scientists

They would go home to their families

Using big trucks or just by bringing them there when they were small or even eggs.

> Who leaves a knife in the bottom of a bath filled with water?

Albert Wesker to test the STARS team

> If Lisa Trevor is so strong, how come she can’t break out of her
> chains?

Because she cannot get enough leverage on the chains to break them

> Why is there so many dogs and no dog food?

Wild dogs of the forrest. Local people's pets. People who would walk the dogs in the woods.

> What do the huge spiders eat?

HUmans, HUnters, Insects. Basically anything they could catch.

> Wasn’t it obvious that having a 60-foot long snake would spell trouble
> for them?

It was never that big until it got infected, and i am sure it would have been safe as long as it didn't escape. But unfortunatly it did

> Why does a mansion have mines underneath? Surely it would collapse!

The mines have been built to keep "unwanted" things underneath. It should not collapse as long as the mines we supported.

> No matter how long you play for, it is always nighttime!

Because you are playing in "game time" and not real time

> Why does the painting room have no windows? Natural light is the best
> painting light!

Because coloured light was deemed better by the designer

> Why does a zombie with ‘the urge to feed’ hide in a cupboard?

Because the human died in the cupboard and a zombie does not have the inteligence to open it.

> Why don’t the zombies realise that 2 STARS members wont feed them
> all?

Because they have lost all natuaral thought apart from the need to eat.

> How come Barry is always behind a locked door?

Because he is working for wesker, has been black mailed.

> How did they get the piano into the piano room when the hallway is
> that small?

Assembled it in the piano room.

> How does Richard get bitten by Yawn when it's behind a locked door,

Wesker locks him in after he lurs Richard into the room with the snake.

> Who named the snake “Yawn”?

The person who raised it

Someone who doesn't want the thing inside being able to get out.

> If Jill is so smart, why can't SHE fix a doorknob?

She hasn't got the correct tools

> Why does a key take up as much space as an assault shotgun? Doesn't
> Chris of Jill have any POCKETS for them?

Because they keys are 2 feet long.

> Why do Barry and Jill think it's such a GREAT idea to split up all the
> time?

Because it is the way they have been trained to seek and help out all survivors and to help investigate.

> Why would Wesker send Chris to investigate gunshots with only a knife
> when Jill is RIGHT THERE with a gun?

Because he wants to take Jill captive.

> Why is it that none of these "scientists" ever thought to
> spray themselves with first aid spray and not become zombies?

Because they had lost all inteligence before they realised what they were becoming.

> How come there is a transparent creature in the fountain?
> If it is transparent, surely they wont be able to see it?

YOu can still see the ripples it makes as it swims around.

> Why cant Chris or Jill shoot the lock off a door?

Because that would waste valuable ammunition.

> why didn’t he check the grave with the button on it. It took me one

Because it is more accurate and more deadly.

Because they have been trown into a situation they have not been trained to deal with.

> ripped out by one...

Because he cannot breathe and even Zombies need to breathe.

> How was an amazing virus such as the T-virus developed in a tiny
> little lab like the one below the mansion?

Because it was also developed in the Artic Mansion as well as other places, such as the huge laboratory below Racoon city.

> Why so many puzzles? I don’t think old man Spencer would want to fight
> a snake, and do other stuff just to get to his tool shed.

It was rigged by Wesker to test the STARS team and the effectiveness of the T-Virus.

> If the way to get to the laboratory is filled with water, why aren't
> the electronics fried?

They are waterproof.

> In a lab with such difficult work such as creating biological damaging

Because tose things were not important when you are working to meet deadlines and major break throughs.

> Who keeps resetting the pushable furniture?

The evil clever zombies.

> How come the S.T.A.R.S team only have one lighter and one lock pick
> between them?

Because their major tool kit was on the helicopter.

Because they are zombies monkeys and that is they way they have mutated.

A mad scientist.

> Why a cable car? Stairs are SO much easier!

Because building a cable car was the best way to get from section A to section B

> Who puts a key in a chamber filled with poison gas?

Someone who wanted to make the key inaccesable.

> General Questions…
>
> How come almost all STARS members can play the piano?

They are all creative people, well educated and talented.

> Why was the movie nothing like any of the games?

Because it was signed over to a stupid fool.

> How come Resi games have Helipads?

because helicopters are the way of the future.

> Why do the STARS members insist on splitting up so often?

AS i said earlier, it is the way they have been trained.

Why don't STARS members insist on wrapping up for the job? Going to fight zombies in combat trousers and a t-shity won't help any...
