Nintendo of America has announced that Michael Kelbaugh has been appointed the president of Retro Studios, the development team behind Metroid Prime and the sequel to Metroid Prime currently in development for the GameCube. Kelbaugh has 15 years of experience at Nintendo, and recently held the position of director of the company's business development group.
Michael Kelbaugh will be replacing Steve Barcia, the former president of Retro Studios.
