After recently purchasing a PS2 i was quite disturbed by the lack of good quality highly playable games available. That in my eyes changed for the better when i bought Grand theft Auto 3.
The original games on the playstation were good but i found myself getting bored easily. The games are so different to many other games that have been released and i can only say that that is a good thing. With the first 3 grand theft auto games on the playstation the camera view was limited which limited the enjoyment of the game.
However grand theft auto 3 is a work of art!!!! Wonderful Graphics, Outstanding Gameplay, Excitement Mixed in with everyday violence that however brutal,is still extremely enjoyable!!! My point is that i am still unable to find a game as enjoyable and playable. The misssions in the game can be at times bordering on the insane but i dont think anyone will disagree with me in saying that the creators of this game have worked wonders to carry on from the original games and improve it whilst still keeping the same violent gang warfare format.
Games with wonderful graphics can still be flawed by limited gameplay but with games like Grand Theft Auto 3 you can still find enjoyment in it long after completing the game. I would be interested to hear other gamers views on this game either positive or negative.

Up to the realese of GTA3 I dont think there were any games pn the PS2 that really lived up to my expectations. I mean even fantastic GT3 had its own faults. But when I got my copy of GTA3, I was amazed by its marvellous gameplay and brilliant music and other nice touches. But after playing it to death I still thought that there were no games that lived up to its expectations....because GTA3 SURPASSED any expectations I may have had. That game is a masterpiece and I would like to bow down to its creators for making such a beatiful game for us PS2 owners
