i know this isnt for gaming but its for the pc i just finished a virus scan of cpu thing and it couldnt repaor a couple of files, can someone please tell me what to do, as my brothers on the phone and i wanna play stuff and what not

downloding virus definitions takes too long on 56k
In a way quaratine is deleting aswell and it takes it off the file system

I update my definitions on a weekly basis yet when I ran a virus scan today there were some viruses which could not be repaired. Don't delete them from your system as they sometimes create new ones in the process. I put the infected files in Quarentene and then emailed them off to Norton so that they can find a way to repair them. Its the best thing to do with virus' that won't repair.
Try Scandisk- that may help detect any bugs.
Download the latests virus definitions from norton.com then try cleaning them or delete them
