Just a few questions about the GameCube BB Adaptor:

1) Is it compatible with sattelite BB?

2) How far will it reach? Only I need it to reach about two rooms away.

3) If it doesn't reach far, where can extensions be bought?

Thanks

What about NTL 600k
Or NTL 1024k (1mb)
Or (coming soon) NTL 2048k (2mb)

Yeah...NTL is soooo slow.

WTF? That's a bit crap, unless you don't have to hook it up to the PC, which I would have thought you would.

thats 128k minimum gauranteed, usually runs around 31kb/second which is approx 256k and mine only costs £1.99 a month for the first twelve months so can't complain.

Will what reach far?

You only get the adaptor, any wires you need you'll have to buy yourself.

My NTL is the opposite to that:

Crap for download speeds.
Fast for games.

Satellite is ace for downloading stuff, as its bandwidth is very high, but its latency is also very high, which makes it useless for playing games. What this means is that anything being sent from the server to you takes a very long time to make the journey, but many packets of data can make the journey at once.

I don't think Satelite will work.

I think it's fast for recieving but sending is done down a standard phoneline. I think that's how it works anyway...
