Seconding msconfig, the most useful tool MS decided to hide away. Always handy to keep an eye on what has decided to boot up automatically on Start Up.

You can make programs run on start up by putting them in the start up folder, and you can take them out to stop it.

If you are using XP it will be under C:\Documents and Settings\(your login name if you use one\)start menu\programs

Just remove the MSN icon.

Just unselect the "remember my password" thingy on the sign in page thing.

For the rest of them, go to run, and type in

msconfig

Then go to startup and uncheck all you don't want to open when you start it up, eg Quicktime etc.

It doesn't have that option. It is in fact windows messenger, not msn messenger.

When I right click it I can only "SIGN IN" or "Exit"

Right click the MSN icon in the taskbar. Click preferences, and uncheck "start this program when Windows starts".

Simple.
