Has anyone used them before?
How long does it usually take for orders to be sent out?

I'm asking because I placed an order with them like 11 days ago and the order status thing doesn't say my DVDs have been shipped even though I've paid.

They didn't reply my e-mail either.
Me thinks I've been ripped off.

www.play.com are good, both with prices and delevery, few days at most from when released.

are special reserve good?, ive ordered Zelda Wind Waker May the 3rd see when that turns up?

Why don't you try phoning them rather than e-mail? Number is on their site and it's a lot harder to ignore you that way.

Secondly, Play haven't been the DVD Kings for ages now. Reciently, they suck - and I say this as a customer who's spent thousands of pounds with them over many years and was totally satisfied for a long time. www.cd-wow.com completely wipe the floor with them now, esp. for R1.

From another forum, I found quotes such as:

"Not impressed with my last order, payment taken on 18th march and still not recieved the dvd...This is the first supplier I've been unhappy with"

"SAME Here I ordered 2 discs on 22/3/03 ,they said they had posted 1 , then sent an email to say that was a mistake, i sent them 2 emails no reply so far ,and in the past they have been very slow, this was there last chance i dont think i'll use them again"

"like many others I am still waiting for 5 out of 6 items from the £2 off sale, I sent them an e-mail and they have yet replied."

However, several other people were also saying they were great - as long as you're prepared for the inevitable wait.

I ordered 2 DVDs from them back in December 2002, a month later, and no DVDs later, I emailed them. No reply. Emailed again and was told the DVD's were permanently out of stock, did I want to cancel? (!)Emailed back, cancelled.

They are useless, stick to Play, who rule :)

Classic! I ordered the Human Traffic soundtrack from them in November, still aint turned up! And snuggly has had problems with them aswell. I think its a case of steer well clear.

A mate of mines used it once, not too long ago. Thought it would never arrive, then eventually, it came about 28-32 days after ordering.

Tis an English site.
And both DVDs are in stock.

If you're importing the DVD from say America it could take ages. I've ordered from American sites before and the status won't actually change until the order has actually reached your doorstep.

Also if they haven't got the DVD in or whatever they won't actually tell you, I've waited a month before now for goods to arrive.
