Yep my ps2, after taking so much crap off me has finally spat its dummy out and refused to play my DVDs. Just when I ordered 4 new DVDs too - Peter Kay Live, memento, the matrix and shawshank redemption. It'll still play my games sometimes, but it absolutely will NOT play dvds.
After a brief stint of surfing on the net I discovered I need a new laser eye at a cost of £70 including fitting. as it is not completely useless I have decided to purchase an x-box to play my dvds with, while still having the ps2 to play the likes of vice city. I must say I am looking forward to receiving my shiny new x-box and copy of halo.
