A 200w one or a 300w one? Would a 300w on if it is more than sufficient damage the computer?
Thanks very much for any help
Darron.
You won't damage your pc by having a power supply larger than you need, but I wouldn't go with anything below 300w now - I use a 400w, which only actually gives 200w available, 75w on the overclocked cpu alone, then ~100w for drives, mobo etc, and a few for the fans.
Even my 486 had a 235w psu...so go with 300w+, preferably antec or enermax, or possibly macron.
