good try cold natch but wrong team. the only team in manchester played derby county on sat 25 1965 (my birthdate). I will never forget it as we won 1-0 with Murry scoring in front of 20834 people and 1 dog. we won the 2nd division that season so that was another great thing happened around that time in history!

Anyway, it's a trick question. Stockport County didn't play on Saturday 25th, they played Barnsley on Fri 24th, and won 1-0.
Attendance was 12 men plus 2 dogs.
Final position 13th in Division 4 (42 points).
