I write a lot of Intranet apps for my job which require that users can upload multiple files. Usually this is not a problem as they are only 3 or 4 required so a chain of HTML File input fields will do.
I had to do a project this week that needed to allow the user to upload an unspecified number of attachments.
the-StickMan's blog has come to the rescue with quite an old but new to me solution using Javascript and is nearly fully cross browser (for our Intranet I only need Firefox and IE).
