I don't know if anyone else saw the programme from Friday (I think).. It contained on of the funniest things I have ever seen on the normally boring BBC. Jennifer Lopez is performing her song, and amazingly managing to replicate a computer generated version of her voice live.. She was able to make a digital-sounding effect that just proved she was lip-syncing.

But anyway, she moves towards the legions of adrogynous fans and while she's singing a hand shoots out and starts caressing her thigh, and then another one targets her bum. Ever the professional Miss Lopez continues her lip-sync dance routine and ignores the stray hands but stealithily backs off. But she hadn't had enough, she moves back over to the problem area only to be fondled again.

Now the money shot happens just as the camera pans out when she has finished her song. She's smiling and waving then just before we leave to go and watch some other act she fixes a blood-curdling death stare on some unseen point in the crowd. You could read her mind... "fondle my thighs again and you're going to get a knee in the throat".
Super viewing.

Ah but that was before she became "J-Lo" and instead appeared in Oliver Stone movies where she got her baps out.

And Billy-Bob Thornton playing Twister by himself.
In his pants.

Fantastic.

I remember when the Manics went on dressed in balaclavas. That rocked! I saw SFA on Jo Whiley once and they were playing 'Ice Hockey Hair'. But just before the big drum roll at the end and the super long chorus bit they cut back to Jo Whiley and you could hear SFA in the background going "Oi, we haven't finished yet!". Another funny one was Slash on SM:TV talking about his porn star girlfriend who tried to give him a BJ (but not the bear!). Excrement!

HA

She seems to have a bloody new song out every week...

Anyway the only few times I have watched Top of The Pops is when Manics and Radiohead have been on it...

When they were playing the Pyramind Song it was the funniest thing I have ever seen, in between Steps and err S Club 7, and the crowd look terrified... they also looked frightened during My Iron Lung...

Anyway that made me laugh.

I admire Jennifer Lopez.

To make the transition from mediocre actress to lazy R&B songstress without actually being in a smash-hit film or having a massive selling album is triumph of hype over content.

What was the last film you watched of hers?
Or the last time she had a number one?

But I would like to see the leching crowd, that would rock.
