Anyon else experiencing problems connecting to Freeola?

Recently it has been taking an age to connect to Freeola, and now I can't connect at all. Keep getting a lot of clanging and screeching that ends with a spoken message that says "The other caller has cleared" - Whatever that means?! Then I get an error screen that says "The computer you have dialled has dis-connected".

All my other ISP's are still connecting fine (4). But I can't update my web-site without the Freeola connection.

Any info appreciated.

Ah, routers.

This happened before and it's reletive to where you live. Call the support line and alert them of the problem.

No, I'm using the new number. Also tried the alternative number and got the same result.

I've now worked out that it's my NTL line that cannot connect. When I try with my BT line it gets through - but it takes about a minute to register my passowrd info and log me in. Does anyone else have to wait this long?

I guess Freeola have changed something their end that stops me using my NTL phoneline. Just means I have to switch sockets when I need to upload files to my Freeola site.

0845 1121400 is the New Freeola Connection Number, all I can think of right now (baring in mind I've been drinking though, lol) is that you are still using the older Number, which has recently be cut from use.

Check the Number your connecting to, and if it's not the one above, change it. If you are using the one above, then say so, so we can look for other reasons.
