There's two ways of watching a movie well ok there are more than two ways, you could stand on your head, hop on the spot etc etc and watch a movie. But im talking about the two main ways (No, I dont mean sitting down or standing up) going to the cinema or watching on video/DVD in the comfort of your own home.

Now, the pros and cons of each:

The Cinema:
+ see the films earlier
+ see the films on the really BIG screen
+ makes a good trip out
+ lots of sweets, food and drink etc on sale
- Every thing costs so much
- people blocking your view
- people kicking your chair
- people talking, and giving away the plot
- sitting in popcorn or gum

DVD/Video:
+ watch as many times as you want, and only pay once
+ no annoying people, unless you choose to invite some
+ extra features, adding to the experience
+ If you have a BIG top of the range, widescreen, suround
sound TV and DVD player, its just like the movies
+supply your own food, so dont have to pay loads for a small bag of popcorn
- have to wait for films to be released, unless you deside to purches pirate videos, and im not talking, argh me maties, parot on the shoulder pirate.
- If you pay full price for a movie, and it sucks, you have wasted about £20. if you see a lame movie at the cinema you only waste about £5

It basiacly comes down to whether or not your looking for a day out or a night in, and how much you are willing to spend. but if you do choose to stay at home, and long for the feel of the cinema, but cannot afford top class equipment, dont worry. I will come round, charge you £5 for entry to your living room, stick gum on your seat, popcorn in your hair, spit in your drinks, tell you the end of the movie and block your view, so you can have a true movie experience.
