Great britain team? that would be good for Scotland and ireland and wales because they cant get in to the world cup any other way so i wouldnt want a great britain team
I think this would be a good idea in some aspects but if you look at it another way then how will all the nation wide leagues survive.
The nation wide division one will only have 2 teams going up to the Premiership 2 ( the premier league now) and the champions of the Premier ship 2 going up to the Phoniex.
The scottish teams will be entered into the Premiership 2 and " if they are that good" will go and join the likes of Man U and Leeds and other top clubs in the Phoniex league the season after.
Which brings me to the Nation wide teams again with 6 yes that is right 6 teams ready to quit the nation wide on December the 1 st because they will be going into Premier Ship 2.
The teams are wolves , birmingham , cyrstal palace and coventry a few more that i cant rememeber are also going up.
The leagues will consist of two teams of 18 and that will be interesting to see which teams will saty in the Phoniex league and which willl be "relegated" into the Premier ship 2.
And of course why would i talk about a money orientated sport " Football " without actually talking about money.
Sky have invested £1.1 BILLION in to given people like me intertaining football though an arial and if the Phoniex league comes along who will go for that?
ITV Digital have payed £330 MILLION to screen the cream of the crop nation wide matches
they wont want them now the " cream of the crop " are going into premiership 2 will they?
Before i go one more thing.
With Scottish teams in the English leagues what about a Great Britain side? like in the olympics we could have Giggs on the left beckham on the right and keane in the middle? WAIT A MINUTE this sounds like a man u team LOL
it would be cool to have a Great BRitain team though
thanks for reading if you did
