I've been having some trouble when downloading files from the internet. While the file is being doanloaded, it'll get to somewhere between 60% - 80% complete, and then just jump to saying "Download Complete". But when I got the fiel to open it, it says it's a "Bad File". This doesn't always happen, but is happening quite often.

Does anyone know why it's thinking downloads are complete before they actually are???

I use DAP and the only problem I have had with it was stopping right in the middle of MIR.

Lots of external programs seem to corrupt zip/tar.gz archives, but I can never use the IE downloader as it freezes halfway through, just stops transferring data..

Haven't had any problems with gozilla recently, but you could try some other external program - DAP, getright, realdownload etc...all do essentially the same thing.

I never had that problem with downloads, but several installers have done it to me...3DS max character studio and the 21.83 dets being two recent examples..

Mainly .ZIP Files ... and I'm just using the normal Download thing, the one built into Windows/IE.

for some reason some .ZIP Files can't be doanloaded with Gozilla...

It could be the file you are down;oading or the software you are using to download it. I uses download accelerator plus and it works well. Does it happen with all files or just a certain few?
