I've been a Liverpool fan now for almost 11 years now and before you press 'Back', I'm not going to be talking about Liverpool much.

I was watching Liverpool play Barcelona in the Champions League and I must say that Barcelona's passing was top draw. The match reminded me of a team that I used to watch in the past.

Other than supporting Liverpool, I followed a bit of Italian football. I started watching and one team caught my eye. The team was AC Milan.

I watched a game with AC Milan in it. The passing that Milan came up with was incredible. They would string 40-50 passes together and then score a great goal. They were unstoppable.

AC Milan had top quality players like Papin, Van Basten, Gullit, Rikjaard, Costacurta, Baresi, Albertini and in my opinion, dominated the Italian league.

I suppose AC Milan helped me cement my love for Liverpool because Liverpool played a similar game. I, unfortunately, missed the great Liverpool days but they are slowly moving back in the right direction.

So, what influenced your love for your favourite club?

My local team (Royston Town) couldn't hit a barn door with a spade. I like them and follow their progress but that's as far as it goes.

Shockers are always a favoutite for me, you know like when the underdog team pulls out something special and reigns victorious!

My home town team full of part time postman and milkman one year a few years ago went extremely far in the F.A.Cup (I think it was) anyway they ended up playing Middlesborough and at one point were winning! It was excellent part timers beating professionals of the sport, we lost 2-1 in the end but what a result a bunch of nobodies going all that way into the cup and playing a top team like that, brilliant.
