The question will be if that American idiot will be able to avoid death. He's supposedly already received over 100 death threats - He may not live to see 2012 or much else if he goes ahead with his 'protest'.

The only concern I have about this is that he may be the cause of many more innocent peoples' deaths if he goes ahead.

Big misconception over the 2012 theory. The ancient mayans do not state the end of the world in the year 2012. What they do say is that it will be the beginning of a new time period. This could be interpreted as the end of the world, but that's like saying instead of new year, the world will blow up. It's absolute nonsense.

Excited to see the amount of people who will go nuts that year though. The only possibility of an apocalyptic event in 2012 is the United Kingdom coming first in the olympics.

Crumbs I hope it can't be avoided - it's the one constant I'll be happy to face when it arrives on my doorstep. As long as the grim reaper appears to me with an egg timer and speaks to me in capital letters :)
