I found it very enjoyable. This may be because I like leaving any signs of logic and theory out of the window when I watch a film. I like to let the film take me wherever it wants to. This means I never even new there was going to be a twist and therefore it hit me like a built up phlemmy spat at such force it takes you a day just to ankknowladge you've been greenied.
I am not going to review the film as I feel you should watch this film yourself. This adds to the film, if you new the plot it would not be a very good film.
It isn't very scary, but there was a bit that made everybody jump. This bloke poo pooed his panties so much he flew 2 foot into the air and his popcorn flew over about four rows backwards(he then began to apologise to everyone-made me laugh)
I did find one thing scary, that was when the daughter turns into a manky old women. Nicole Kidman then asks her daughter (in the guise of a manky old thing) "WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER!!" the thing then turns round with a sinister smile and says "are you mad I am your daughter" believe me it is freaky.
But I now use this line to scare my girlfriend, whenever she asks where anything is I turn around waving the afformentioned item and recite the daughters verse:
girlfriend: "Where are the carrots"
Donkey punch:*turning around slowly with carrots over his face* "Are you mad I am your carrots"
girlfriend: "you know I don't like it when you do that voice, give me the carrots" *snatching carrots out of Donkey punch's hand*
It makes me laugh and thats all that matters.
The manky daughter scene also scares me because my worste nightmare is waking up in the middle of the night. I then look out of the window and in my back garden there is a little girl dressed in a white gown swinging on a swing humming a nursery rhyme. She then looks up at me, her eyes widen and she gives me the most evil smile you have ever set your eyes on (she is obviously a ghost as I don't have a swing in my back garden). There are shivers going up my spine as I write this.
Any way go and see the film.
Is anyone else scared of weird ghostly children or is it just me?
