Nintendo Official Magazine. (NOM)

I state this as it is the only official magazine on offer for Nintendo fans. And lets face it. It's pants.
It has had a lot to live upto as it is the love child of the almighty Nintendo Magazine System (NMS) but why has it declined so much into a childish and shallow effort of its former glory?

I don't know why they let it become such a poor 'zine, but I have a couple ideas as to why it isn't as good as NMS.

First of all, they lost all the great talent of the 90's that NMS had. I'm talking about SEAL, Jaz, Frasier, in fact all of em. But the 2 I miss most. It's gotta be SEAL and Radion Automatic. The personal touches that these people added to the magazine and the way it was presented made it a fun thing to read, something to chill with and enjoy. I still read my old NMS magazines and I have now stopped forcing myself to buy NOM, I can get much better reviews, pics, tip and whatever else on the net. But I can't get the things that NMS had anywhere else.

Secondly I want to point out how cutesy and childish it is. It is now marketed towards very younger readers and they have forgotten it seems about us older gamers. Dave I believe is the only good guy on the team now. And I think he's going downhill. Please, if anyone from the NOM team are reading, listen to the plea's of a true Nintendo fan.

I guess it just might be nostalgia but I say bring back NMS and the world class team they had.

Radion Automatic and SEAL, you are needed!

This thread has already been done before. We came to a conclusion that NOM is childish, biast and in no ways funny. Try to look for the unofficial magazine because they are fair in their reviews (don't give South Park 97%!!), they don't make childish comments like 'Phoney Greystation' and they include phrases which are intended for the older reader which the NOM wouldn't even dream about writing. I'm talking about phrases like (NOM readers turn away now) NOM is total b******s.
