Another great option featured in the games is the Create a Wrestler mode, the Smack down2 Create a Wrestler is much better than Smack down 1 and not supissingly its not as good as Smack down3’s. In this mode you can make your own wrestler starting with the body and head ending with the moves. The move list is brilliant, as there is a huge library of choices including the most outrageous moves.
The career option is also featured in all of the games the Smack down2 one is better than Smack down1 and suprisingly Smack down3. In the Career mode you get to take control of your favourite superstar including your own created grappler. You can choose which belt you would like to go for and watch the story un-fold with you taking part and helping yourself get closer to that belt by winning your matches.
Smack down3 is over all a lot better than both of its predecessors but you do have to win and unlock a lot of the options that make it better, but once you’ve done that its all cruising from there on.
Smack down1 came and was very successful, it bought a great reputation for Wrestling games and when Smack down2 to was released it sold millions thanks to its original. Then the date for Smack down3 was confirmed and it was all people could talk about. Worldwide pocket money was being saved for this amazing game. Finally it has arrived and has already sold thousands, and will likely sell hundreds of thousands more by the time Christmas is over.

So now onto Metal Gear Solid 2, also much awaited with huge expectations after the chart busting Metal Gear Solid. So like Smack down3, Metal Gear Solid 2 has had a previous title to work on and what a huge reputation Metal Gear Solid has got, it got 10/10 in just about every review with a very much well deserved 99% every time. The game sees you take control of Snake. You have to guide Snake though a series of extremely tough times including stealth, shooting skills and much more. The idea is to try to stop the production of the Metal Gear machines, which are capable of extreme damage.
The single player mode is practically the only thing you can do but it is very big and very addictive. There is so much that you have to get Snake trough that it’ll last a very long time of playing. There are lots of different bosses that all need to be destroyed and they each have their very own special capabilities.
In Metal Gear Solid 2 I think that the main enemy (Your very own brother) still lives and is still trying to produce the Metal Gear machines so you have to find him and once again try to destroy him. From what I’ve seen this game is set to be the greatest game of the year, the graphics look outstanding and really show the PS 2’s capabilities with great action time and stealth mixed in with it.
A few bosses are still alive from the previous game such as Revolver Ocelot and there are also new ones such as the woman with the devastatingly powerful lightening gun, which pretty much rips through anything.
Metal Gear Solid 2 is set to be an absolutely amazing game so if you own a PS 2 then you really don’t want to miss it. If you don’t own a PS 2 then buy one if only to play this great game on.

The final of the three games is Final Fantasy 10. Again like WWF Smack down3 and Metal Gear Solid 2 Final Fantasy 10 has had its predecessors and many of them. The game really got popular from Final Fantasy 7, which came out on the Playstation. The graphics weren’t great, in fact if you saw them now comparing with other games you would probably be offended. But the thing that gave it such a great reputation is its game play. It is great fun to play and is quite time consuming so you don’t play it for a few hours and then its done. It is going to take a long time to finish and you get better and better as you progress further and further. Soon Final Fantasy 8 was released and it was snapped up by just about every single Playstation owner. Although the graphics had improved a lot, they still weren’t as good as they could have been. But again it sold lots because of the great Game play and story line. Then quite recently Final Fantasy 9 hit the shelves and sold like a storm. Finally the graphics and the game play were up to top standard. They were both absolutely second to none. The best thing is that each game does have the same view points, fighting styles and layout, however each ‘Fantasy’ is completely different even with different characters. You control the main character who ever it is, depending on which game you’re playing. You then have to go around the world completing various parts to the story whilst collecting Gardian Forces which are like huge magical monstrous creatures. You use your Gardian Forces to aid you when battling enemies. They gradually get better and better whilst learning new magical powers and getting stronger and stronger. Now Final Fantasy 10 is on its way and I just hope that it can come out some time before Christmas. The graphics look absolutely dazzling and are said to really push the Playstation 2’s capabilities. And if the game play is anything like the previous games’ it shall be a huge game and well worth getting. I have yet to hear any really detailed information but from the screen shots that I’ve seen it looks amazing.

So if your looking for the top Playstation2 games this Christmas there are the top three Smack down3, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy 10.

Did I turn two pages at the start?

MGS2 February, FFX June/ July, Smackdown lost in a sea of mediocrity (the pope's words, not mine - I think it stinks)

Yadda yadda yadda.

Puppies aren't just for christmas, they're for hunting foxes.

I'll give him some credit for FFX and MGS2, maybe Smackdown 3 was a typo.

And maybe he's American or Japanese, there's nothing to stop us importing any of these titles for Chrimbo. (Except good taste if you include Smackdown 3 anyway, which should never have got through customs in the first place).
