Hi. Can anyone help me install a discussion board on my freeola website? (I haven't got an SQL database, so it would have to be php or something).
I have limited skills, so something easy please.
Also, do you know if freeola would provide backup for this?

I have tried this in the past with my limited skills and failed, Freeola tend not to offer support for these things, but others on this forum have done it with success so perhaps they will be able to help you on this one

There's a few boards over at hotscripts.com which purport to run without DBs: http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Discussion_Boards/index.html

We cannot offer support on this directly, however we are planning to offer an optional upgrade to Freeola websites that allows you to add a forum to your site and configure it using a simple webpage admin system in MyFreeola.

Therefore, a forum can be established with no programming or technical skills. The price is not yet set for the optional upgrade but it is likely to be equivalent to the cost of a MySQL upgrade, or less.

If you can wait a little while, we hope to have this service available this Summer.
