I got bored of my subscription copy arriving 2 or 3 days after it was on sales in the shops so got a refund for remaining issues. Spent 5 mins flicking through latest issue in Smiths yesterday, saved myself 5.49

Only game I am looking forward to in the next few weeks is Midnight Club 2, and OPS2M won't have a review until next issue - three weeks after the game comes out - how useless is that !

I've even gone off playing a lot of the demo's, either I'm abnormally fussy or don't have enough time to play a demo's of games that get 6 out of 10 (Shinobi)

With the invention of the internet all magazine news is already old hat, sure it's nice to have something to take with you to read on the train etc etc but it's a bit like watching repeats of East Ennders at the weekend.
If you come across some important news firstly in a mag you can't be that big a PS2 fan or you would have read it on one of the excellent PS2 sites out there.

Sure I will buy the odd issue now and again but won't look forward in anticipation of the new issue like I did 6 or 12 months ago - has the mag gone downhill or is it just me ?

Just think, for the price of five and a half magazines you could buy two Platinum games from GAME.

Rant over - Silent Hill 3 looked great by the way, where is the playable demo of that (and Midnight Club 2)
