Is the place to be
According to X-box
But never mind
Those trailing behind
Could end up at Fort Knox
Yet gamecube stares in the face of danger
Looking up to Microsoft, the newbie stranger
What to see, what to do
But first came along PS2!
In its infancy, it bawled
Before finding its feet, it started to crawl
Three hundred was the best
It seemed better than all the rest
Yet lithium spilled
Cracks were unfilled
And it slumped,
Shipped to the dump
And along came fear.

Challenging the new
Came in the form of 2
Namely X-box and gamecube
Both with power, games to boot
They want to make the money, steal the loot
And they may blow your TV tube
While Nintendo laugh and Sony cry
Start to wonder how and why
Storms from the present and storms from the past
Fail to make the PS2 last

Nintendo have released
A console not yet deceased
With all their endeavors entailed
It promises to be
But don’t ask me
Consoles having to be airmailed
Yet with reports of games
Not being that lame
And then up comes Rare,
Not there to scare
Promising a lot of games I dare say
But when will the GC be released in the UK?
Luigi’s Mansion and Stars Wars Rogue Squadron
All brewed up in a nice, big cauldron
4-0-5 with gecko technology
It may to become a complete anthology

Microsoft are new on the log
Helping out, here on FOG
By providing incite, wisdom and maturity
In your face BG, you got no authority!
You ponce around in a big grey suit
Making a lot of money pretending to be cute
You’re really a geek
Really mild and really meek
Why don’t you help out Beirut?
Yet the X-box is the fastest
Neatly and properly sculpted
Primarily designed with windows
That’s not exactly one of the heroes
Yet with speed and strength
On the same wavelength
Only at £300.

So the battle ensues
Two are going to lose
Who will sell?
Can you tell?
Who’s your best?
The problem needs to be addressed
What can you afford?
Who has prescored?
Who offers the most?
And who has almost
The best or the worst, it’s your decision
Who’s top of the premier division?
