Although it has Luigi’s mansion. It dose not have Mario. Which I think puts the Nintendo at a bit of a weak spot as all the die hard Mario fans will be put of buying the Gamecube and might by the X-box instead.
But you could say that any real die-hard fans would wait for their king of Consoles. As it stands the Opening games line up is damn good but still lacking the vital ingredient to make the Gamecube king of consoles.
What Nintendo need to also work on is remaking Mario a fair amount coz if there’s nothing new then no one is going to buy the games.
So I feel that Nintendo need to get Mario next adventure out pronto to keep people interested and the Italian plumbers of this world happy.
There is another thing that Nintendo has problem is lack of originality for example in the early days every Mario game was just the same a 2D bloke jumping on mushrooms. When the N64 came along Mario was transformed but apart from the amazing graphics it was still the same thing. Not that I have anything against Mario, it’s just do I really want to pay out £50 for a game I’ve played many times? So I say to Nintendo get put a Mario game that has loads of new stuff and get it out fast.
We're having a night out at Rivington this Weds.
Meet at the usual place on the avenue in time for a 6pm set-off.
Most of us will be there for about 5:45 ;-)
Route to be decided ;-)
