All the greatest projects were called X. It's got four lines of symmetry, and can be drawn with two brisk strokes.
It's often used as the mark of death, which I find ironic. :0)

If they had actually bothered to make a decent console operating system, they wouldn't have needed them.

What amuses me about that is, where as other consoles usually fail due to faulty hardware (blown fuses in the PS2 power supply, dodgy disc drives etc.) which can be replaced/repaired, this is clearly a software/operating system failure.
Which, despite my being impressed with Windows XP, is something which Microsoft are known for.
And these 'demo boxes' are reportedly the final hardware that customers are buying.
Sorry, but give me Gamecube any day. (PS2 is a given, obviously!)
