I installed GP3, but it didn't install right so I tried uninstalling it, it said that it had uninstalled so I put the disc back in to re-install it but it kept asking if I wanted to remove it.
Someone said about deleting the registry files for it, so I did.

Now when I load the disc, I click on the button that says "Install GP3" but then it says "Are you sure you want to remove this from your system?" even though I clicked on INSTALL!

How can I do something about this?

Thanks

You say I may have deleted some wrong files...so if I have, how do I get them back?

Thanks

Well, it seams that you may have deleted some wrong registary files. But only needed for GP3. I suggest using norton uninstall or searching for GP3 files and deleting them. Or run Scan Disk.

Thanks, that helped install the game.
But now I can't play it! When I click on play, it says "Error, DirectX not installed"

Do you know what I can do, because DirectX 8 IS installed!

Thank you

Go to the game directory and delete it then try again.
If it still does it then try searching your harddisk for any files called gp3 or grandprix3 and if you are sure that they are from the game and not system files then delete them.
