I want to know why games always get put back from the original release date, why can’t they set a date and stick to it, surely this can’t be that hard. An example of this is Tony Hawk 3 at first it was coming out Nov 9th and what happens it’s put back to Nov 30th. Last weekend I went to Dixon’s hoping to get THPS3 (I would of got it from special reserve but I had a £25 voucher) but when I asked they said NO! So I had to settle with Fifa 2002 even though I’ve got 2001, but when I played it I was pleasantly surprised that Fifa was a wicked game. Another thing what is the point in having TBA as a release date why can’t game companies just say when it will be released or give a realistic estimate?
Well the developers say (or at least most of them!), that it will be done when its done, i know its very annoying when games get delayed, but what would you rather have?, an unfinished product, or get it early with loads of bugs, personally i would rather wait, but sometimes developers delay the game for no apparent reason, games such as twisted metal black which should have been released about 3 months ago but are only going to be released this month or soon, the best solution i have found is by a game as a stop gap until the game you want is release, if you really want the game though, you will be prepared to wait, for titles like Tony Hawks 3, which is now released on november 30th
