I've been watching documentaries during my sleepless nights and I realise that they have been emphasizing regarding the smoke and UV level that is burning a hole in the o'zone layer. Without o'zone layer we would be burnt to death. That's how important the o'zone layer is. Apart from that pollution is fast rising in countries. This may lead to earth being and unpleasent place for us to live on.

anyway, it doesn't matter if we re dead. If you feel bad for all the millions that suffer every day in the world, then it makes no difference. Our actions now could cause (or prevent) the suffering of millions more in the future, no matter how far ahead it is.

Yeah, true. We have to make sure no-one is gonna nuke the world before worrying about O-Zone. Good point though, although it won't stop unless the US put some restrictions on their emissions, and big businesses stop exploiting third world countries because of the cheap labour costs.

Big corporations which make most money in rich countries often have their industrial processes done in the third world where there are less restrictions on emissions and labour is MUCH cheaper. These countries are now paying the price for our greed with unclean air, etc.

The World. Who knows how this story will end?
