Well has it?

In my view yes for all the great match types and for lots of them too, (i especially like doing grapple moves of the top of the ladder), but back to match types, this gives the game a great lifespan.

Bad points mainly, story mode. Once you have achieved something, say the wwf title it stops like after 4 matches, now its not a season, its broke down into 4 matches for a storyline. So now after you have achieved a title it stops and you have to select new game, the continue option is not availiable then, unless say you have just had a no.1 contenders match then saved it and come off the game, so then when you come back on you can get the title then the story finishes.

But this way, it gives you a opportunity to be different wrestlers in story mode after 4 matches.

Another bad point would be no Create a PPV mode.

Myself i prefer Smackdown 2's season mode with Smackdown: JBI's storyline and Smacdown 3's matches, entrances, and wrestlers.

In my opinion that would be my perfect Smackdown game so far

Good points

Excellant graphics
tons of match types
great entrances
good cut-scenes
life-like wrestlers
tons to unlock

Bad points

Poor story mode except for unlocking stuff and cutscenes
No Create a PPV mode

In my opinion, the answer would be no.

Then again, it could be because I felt Create-A-PPV was the best thing about the Smackdown series, and I was really looking forward to making some brilliant cards. Also, there's no Too Cool, and the story mode is disappointing.

Excellent graphics and top gameplay though. The commentary is annoying, but the sounds of the actual wrestling are superb, as is the range of exhibition matches.

It will keep me playing for a while, but with the repetitiveness of Story mode, and the lack of Create-A-PPV, it won't be for nearly as long as it was with SD2.

Yeah i agree, another good thing...well more realistic thing is that you can leave any match that you want.
