The Crazy Console Christmas Party? Yes you may wonder what this is and to be honest very few know what it is. The CCCP is the best Christmas party in the world. As gaming characters don't have much family what better way to celebrate the festive season than with some of the most famous characters around.
This event is the highlight of the year as it gives the characters a chance to let their hair down and take things easy. It isn't exactly what you would expect to see, there is no Ninty, Sony or Microsoft fights where one has to be better than the other, everyone is treated equally and fairly and to be honest everyone is very friendly with each other with the exception of the odd few. This event is only for characters and some very important gaming industry people.
So what exactly happens at this event? Well let's take a look back to see what has happened at the past few events.
Last year the highlight of the event was when Mario, Luigi, Snake, Duke Nukem and Eddy from Tekken done a Chippendale style striptease for charity. It not only raised a fair bit for charity but also contained a lot of humorous scenes. As the music says Mario did indeed keep his hat on but that was about it. Snake fell off the stage on numerous occasions due to extensive alcohol intake and Duke Nukem was seen leaving the event not long after with a selection of female characters.
After all this Shiggsy took to the stage and gave his own rendition of My Way by Frank Sinatra, after what can only be described as a rotten performance Mario and Luigi cream pied him in the face before giving an excellent performance of "he ain't heavy, he's my brother"
As you may have guessed it is indeed a very fun night, karaoke is only one popular form of entertainment.
Twister also provides some entertaining scenes and has been one of the controversial areas of the night after pictures showing Lara Croft and The guy in grand theft auto in some very odd looking positions. After this slip up security has been tightened to ensure that information like this does not get into the wrong hands.
A few years back donkey kong got a little tipsy on the beer kegs and started throwing them at Mario, he then kidnapped Princess and continued to throw beer kegs and barrels at Mario, if it hadn't been for his unique jumping ability and dedication to saving the princess then this situation could have been a disaster. Donkey Kong was taken home by Toad and the party continued. Awards where then given out for Game character of the year, best clothing in a game and worst haircut in a game. These latter was won last year by Eddy from tekken for his unbelievable afro.
As well as all the great and famous characters there are still a few who turn up that don't have many friends. Bowser is one that springs to mind, he gets drunk and becomes very rude and insults a lot of people. He was brutally beaten last year by someone but as to this day nobody knows who it was.
Clair Redfield, Zelda, Joanna Dark and Duke Nukem were caught in a very awkward predicament a few years back when they were caught in a room of their own getting up to a little bit of drunken fun. (Due to the average age of the forum details will be missed out on this story).
So what is going to be happening this year? It is not long away now, rumours are that Mario will dress as Santa and give everyone a present that represents the kind of person they are. Snake is most likely to get the award for best game although he does face strong competition from others. For the first Year Mr Gates will attend so security has been increased due to huge number of people disliking him. He is expected to dress up in weird and wacky clothes and sing a special song that will be picked by the characters. Hopefully he will have to dress as a girl and sing "When I was just a little Girl".
Invitations have been sent out and most characters have stated they will attend, alcohol will be consumed in excessive amounts and this allows people to see just what characters are really like.
