I know this film came out ages ago, and i know you all have probably knocked it in your time. But now it is my turn!!! As i recently saw it on the TV, and it brought back my hatred of such rubbish!

Firstly, how come every tornado the actors witness destroys houses, moves houses, moves machinary etc. but doesn't manage to move what they are sheltering under!!! ie that bridge over that drainage channel near the start of the film.

Secondly, tornado power! If this film was real, central america would have no infra-structure!!!!!! As every time one struck, buildings were levelled.

Thirdly, tornado frequency! How come every tornado the actors chase is a big one. I have done some quick research (and i mean quick, as i am not sad!) and tornado's are frequent, the film did get something right!! But every touch down doesn't result in a full blown (c what i did there!) twister that stays on the ground for enough time for a crew of people to chase across the country. Most tornado's are only on the ground for a number of seconds!!

Finally, warped hollywood imagination!! Is it me, or in that scene where the petrol tanker is tossed around in the air effortlessly (in some kind of airborn dance) doesn't the red pick up stay on the ground! (Of course it does, our hero's are in that!) And just incase we are thinking the 100 ton+ tanker is empty it hits the ground, and ignites a full tank! For god sake, a full tanker must have a mega weight, that tornado must have had force approching that of a saturn 5 rocket!!!!!!!!!! But yet, the pick up, still remains firmly attached to the road!!!

Anyway, i feel much better now, getting that off my chest. Please say your guys have noticed these things, or am i paranoid!!!

And just something to think about, the whole story of the film was to get those little sensor things into a twister. Why couldn't they just fire them in, using something like a rocket, or much simpler a sling or a catapult!!! And is it me, how come the debris, on the outside of a tornado manages to hit the 'baddies' of the film but when our hero's (right at the end) are engulfed by a twister, are hit by nothing...............GOD BLESS HOLLYWOOD

The voices just don't seem to be.....right. That's not the right word but I can't be bothered to think.

But you've got to love Bill Paxton.

Should he have taken the role in True Lies? Although it really boosted his career and he got a lot of roles after it, it also ruined his career as you just can't take him seriously any more. You just think of him as 'Simon'.

I remember seeing this at the cinema - I thought it was boring, terrible acting and I found it hard to keep a straight face throughout - Very poor!!
