Ok then. At last we get another games show after Bits well failed to appeal to the gamers since it went on fair a bit too late for many peoples likings.

I am watching this show right now, and its ok but norhing special. The people who played the X-treme games are rather poor-they couldnt do a proper trick on Tricky. They slugged off Max Payne and so far I am not very impressed.

But at least its something to watch....Oh and did you see the Burnout ad?

What we need is for some actual gamers to make the show, and have them on the show because at the moment it's just a load of novices playing games at a below average standard.

One of the big problems is this; the owners of ITV C4 and Sky are very old minded. They think that gaming is still banging in loads of code on a keyboard onto tapes and that gamers are a small minority.

I doubt it would work but if a few of the users of Ukchat got together and designed a TV show, maybe send it to the major TV companies see what they think of it.

Oh well maybe next time C4!

hardly brilliant was it? better than nothing I guess :-)

one thing I don't get though, Alek's is the host right so where's Bouff and Emily? PSM2 interviewed Emily about a month ago and she was asked whether bits would return for another series and she said "your guess is as good as mine"

Not long after Aleks gets her own show, quite mean isn't it? They're trying to copy bits with all the humour and that but failing, badly too, I guess 3 girls in a bedroom sitting on a sofa has a different effect than what TB' has :-(

I prefer Bits, It was proper funny and the competition was great too, oh well :-(

Yeah, I caught the show too. Not exactly essential viewing. The problem with these shows is that they try to appeal to people other than gamers by dumbing down the content and making things simplistic. The problem is if you are not a gamer you really wouldnt watch this rubbish.

Make games programmes for gamers or dont bother at all

They dont have a flaming clue what they are talking about!

I mean, they say that GTA 3 has 'waiting at the bus stop sindrome', i mean, what the hell is that? Ok, the game gets a little tiresome later on, but not that bad!

Gone are the days of good shows from .TV on Sky Digital, now they were good games shows.
