My printer keeps trying to print, althought I havent told it to do anything. It prints page after page of computer language until there is no more paper left in the printer and then it keeps telling me there is no paper left. I cannot keep refilling the printer and waste all my bloody paper!

I have tried shutting my pc down and cancelling all print jobs but it just keeps doing it. Its driving me crazy - can anyone help please?

I unplugged it and then the computer cried because it wanted the printer to be plugged in again so I restared and it began printing stuff again. Then I went and watched '1 hour photo' which is really good, then I came back and reinstalled it and it worked but I had to reinstall my scanned too because they are OLD ones and they are connected to each other via paralell connections instead of USB, which is odd. Anyway it works now. Grand!

I really wonder why you didn't just unplug it.

Buy a new one.

Here at Special Reserve we have a nice variety of printers for all your wants and needs. Why stay with your old model when you could... etc.

Stupid question, but have you unplugged it, left it for a few minutes, and plugged it back in?

I have hit it, kicked it, sworn at it, begged it, asked it nicely. Nothing works.
