Can anyone help me here?! I am scanning everything I can in the game but I don't know if this is increasing my overall scan levels?! Is it just the important data that is recorded in the Log book or is it Absolutley everything in the game that can be scanned? Any help on this would be appreciated, thankyou.

ANd luckily, when playing Hard mode, that was the first room I decided to scan those boxes.

I missed scanning the Hive Mecha the first time around. I swore.

It isn't hidden, it has a RED box.
A big RED BOX instead of an orange box.
Go in a room full of computers, put the scan visor on, look around the room and scan anything with a red box, after it's been scanned it will become orange and you cna ignore it.
And about those orange circuit board things, only ONE in the whole game has a red box, and it's in the room you first encounter a Metroid.
