I saw something not dissimilar this once on the South coast once (I forget where, as this was a damn age ago, 1994/5?); some woman had parked her new Vauxhall under a "Flooding likely" sign, and the car was floating around in the sea, just like on the roadsign. Thankfully she saw the funny side to it... and was even trying to get peoples' attention
Wow. How was she really to know it was that deep?? I mean, people were just standing around like it wasn't even a danger at all. Amazing how sink holes can appear in roads like that.

The best with is when she gets out and tries to walk away with the tiny bit of dignity that she has left, then falls down into the water. Oh how I laughed.
