Criticism resulting the release of Zelda in what is described as the "Exam period" has been rife since the games release announcement. Nevertheless there is a positive viewpoint presented by unique games analyst Cutress:

"No one can revise straight" he began, "Zelda is the perfect game to play during your half hour breaks or whatever". Of course criticism that the games addictive nature will stop revision altogether. But Cutress had this to say:

"Teenagers often suffer regular bouts of hormone related depressions and are often sprung by stress, and exam stress is the worst of them all. Claiming many suicides each year. Zelda is a game that prides itself on the ability of escapism, you play Zelda and your mind is pre-occupied on Nintendo's gorgeous make believe world. Playing Zelda is very good fun and is a brilliant way to relax your senses, talking to villagers and assisting in mini-games is an excellent way to pass your exams. It keeps you thinking and reduces your stress levels."

Although he skates the issue of addictiveness this is mainly down to will power. Just put the game down. But I'm inclined to agree with Cutress, I believe that when stress pushes me to the edge whilst attempting to revise Zelda could be a nice form of escaping the month of pressure.

Yep... Zelda mass suicide of 2001 in an attempt to bring down Saddam's reign with the tri-force of power.

Ah but Burnout 2 isn't immersive enough to counteract your troubled minds./

Night before my Criminal Law exam last year I took apart my PS2 and damaged the lens (stupid magnatised screw zooming off like it had a will of its own). Playing the games is probably safer - the whole way through my exam I was just thinking about the huge repair bill awaiting me.

i think Burnout 2 would be better to get at that time because you can play on it for 15 minute bursts during your breaks. Zelda would be too immersing and you will think "oh I must play on Zelda one more go" and also it takes up too much of your time. Get it after the exams.
