"Hard Luck Work"

It took me ages to find a job... I got one with Pizza Hut in late February.

I trained for a month which was great, but then we moved to the new place and it sucks. It's always quite and it has been overstaffed so all the part-time people are lucky to get about 3 hours a week. I've only had one shift in three weeks. Today I went down to check shifts and this week's weren't even up yet, how the people knew they were working today I dunno. I asked around and everyone made an excuse and ignored me. I talk to all the other part-time guys at school and they're the same.

So now I'm looking for a new job

Hate them, with their questions, and their expectations of service...

I applied for a job at Argos... Got stuck talking to some poof named Graham in the interview - that put me right off the idea of ever working there -- especially when they said you'd be earning £3.54-an-hour, whatever you did!

Stay-away from Argos!
Unless you WANT to be stuck working behind a till...
Or would like to be endlessley carrying boxes around from the back with customers pointing at you and shouting: "Hey - it's SHEEPY!!"

I'm glad I never heard back from them, and got myself a job elsewhere! :)

Argos isnt too bad, the pay is decent, and as long as it isnt christmas time you wont really be rushed off your feet.

Work in the petrol station, it's the best.
Try not to go for the shelf stacking. You get to chat about and stuff, yeah, but the petrol station just rocks.

... and another mistake thats rather anoying... too and to, people just seem to have trouble ever using too

How about a manual job in Argos?
