Played Sound in Leicester Square last night.
We played for an extra 10 mins, because we rule.
And then stayed for the club night and at 4am I thought "Damn, at work in 4hrs" and had to go back to girlfriend's place, shower and come to work.

My hair is sticking out all places(surprising with a number 2 cut 3 weeks ago), I can't see properly and I have the shakes.

Fantastic.

Being at work, exhausted with no sleep and stuff is cool, I'm going to do this more often.

ROCK AND ROLL...(and bacon sandwiches, 6 cigarettes and 3 coffees since 8:45)

..i want to go to bed now please

*interesting question about similar related topic*

I went from North London to Stansted to get to work.
Fine until about Harlow, then Mr Stomach woke up
"Hello, I am your stomach. I don't know whether I want to make you be sick or foul yourself, so I will leave you in a state of stomach-cramped nausea for...ooh let's say 8hrs"

Why? Why do you just want to let the world fall out of you when you feel like that?
Can you not just sleep it off in a park somewhere and feel good?
I drank the requisite pints of water, I brushed my teeth yet I still feel like a camel has slept on my face.

6mins till I can get home and take care of bidniss.

Hangover/No Sleep boy has just had a couple of glasses of champagne and some canapes (prawn things, hors d'ouvres and various things in breadcrumbs)

And I want to be sick.

Please hurry up 5pm, I beg of you, I can't take much more.
I must go home, curl up against the toilet and sob gently, letting the cold porcelain nurse me back to a semblance of good.

It was fantastic.
2nd band overplayed, but our big bald manager got them off.
We played a blinder (even if I do say so) and then stayed for club night, and strangers kept buying me drinks and making me drink Moscow Mules.
Till 4am.

And yes, the fact I had to be at work galls me too, but unless I sign on and become even worse off than I am now, I must continue to show up at this building and sob quietly, nursing a hangover and wanting to be asleep.

But it's Friday, Smackdown 3 is out (lunchtime trip to SR for me) and I have the shakes.
Excellent stuff.

Glad you had a good show, Goaty. I would have gone, but... y'know. Any gigs nearby and I'll be there.

I'd just like to say that I'm no Rock and Roll Lifestyle expert, but there does seem to be one flaw in yours.

You're still working!

Surely if it's a Rock & Roll lifestyle, at 4 am you'd go to bed with a couple of prositutes and then surface at about 2pm for a radio interview?

After trashing your hotel bedroom first, of course.
