Sixers - Lose all the first 5 games of the season, while Iverson and McKie are recovering from off-season surgery.
Iverson and McKie come back, and the Sixers are looking good, winning all 3 games since. McKie's contribution, while obviously important, isn't huge at 11ppg. AI has 25ppg.
Wizards - Have Jordan sice start of season, also scoring 25ppg - but Jordan is leading the L in shots per game. The team is W2 L6.
Despite putting up similar stats for points scored, the change Iverson has made to the Sixers (winless to undefeated) looks much more impressive, though we've not seen this season's Wizards without Mike (except when he's benched).
So how is Mike doing compared to the youngsters? Does he need more time to get back to form? Do you care?

Jordan is playing for the love more than the charity. Taking a $1 million/year leaves the salary cap space to pay for all the trades and free agents, and he really doesn't need the money (he bets that amount on single shots on the golf course with his loaded celebrity pals), so it's a nice gesture.
AI has enough money to retire on. If he left the L now, he could release his album with the original lyrics, and the hype would make sure they sold so fast he could live off the sales without ever touching his nba wages.
Also, at the end of a close game to be the sixers' 3rd win over the bucks in the east finals. Elbow in the face, blood pouring from his gums into his mouth. If he'd showed it the refs would have taken him out of the game. What did he do? He swallowed the blood until he couldn't take any more, so he spat it into the inside of his jersey. So that he could stay on the court to give his team a chance of the victory.
Just another example of the guy's heart, dragging the team to victory.
In it for the money?
I doubt the 76ers will do as well as last season. Teams that look are the Lakers (not suprise there), Bucks (or there), Nets and Minnesota...
Anyway, I'm out!
On the other hand Iverson is on super form (as always) and is still being a great role-model for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Whether Mike will return to his usual form, only time will tell...
