the title may be misleading but this has nothing to do with the DVD player :-)

I'm getting rather worried about Japanese games, On the PS1 character's spoke while noding their "lifeless" heads but on the PS2 it's far more active, Their lips move as they speak and it looks a bit funny if the English doesn't match the person, Onimusha was like watching a dubbed film.

I haven't seen any videos of Metal Gear Solid 2 that weren't in Japanese but I think the U.S version would have been made to match the English, Final Fantasy X is another where the speech doesn't match the lips, Lucky fo us we get the same version as the U.S and developers usually go out of their way for the American audience :-)

oh i thought this would be a topic about pop bands ah well.

it's pretty funny though the japanese art of dubbed films. they funnier then most comedy films actually. what we need on our games is the blokes from Banzai (show on C4) doing the voices. pure comedy

By the state of the lip sync in the Final Fantasy film, and how long they had to make it....

Though the WWTBAM game is using this new system and apparently, it's a bit tasty

I hope it all fits together in those two games. It`d be a real let down if it looked like ZOE or Onimusha.
