A good thing about allowing the manager of Cube Europe to crash at your house tonight is he brings gifts.

He arrives in Wimbledon in about an hour and has with him Soul Calibur 2 and PN03.

Yes! I get to play other wicked games!

What a day. A Zelda launch party later with him and then coming back and playing GameCube all night.

That's Product Number 03. I don't know why NGC insist on getting it wrong every issue..

CUBE magazine wrote in their April issue that aswell as the older Link, toon-rendered Link and Ganondorf will be co-starring in the Nintendo version. To my disappointment, the May issue has now told us it was an April Fools joke - and not to be taken as anything other than a lie.

Why o WHY did they take Maxi out of Soul Calibur 2? (Maxi is the one who looks like Elvis and uses nun-chukus). Arguably the strongest character Soul Calibur 1 (along with Kilik). Maybe because he was too difficult for the average gamer to master? Magazines claim they had to dumb the game down a little.

Its completely unjustified!

Other than that should be a great game :-)

Is it true that there are actually THREE different links within the GameCube version of Soul Calibur II??

I read somewhere that there's the adult Link, a younger Link, and a cel-shaed/"toon-rendered" Link from The Wind Waker.

I doubt it, though. :(

Soul Calibur is amazing. And Link can do some wicked things with his sword.

Swing!
