What if the world is one big game? I know, I know, its silly, and a similar thing was covered with 'The Matrix', but just sit there and imagine it for a while.

There could be these weird aliens or even humans, controlling our every movements, or just one persons movements and everybody else is just part of the game. It could even go deeper than that. Maybe this is all one big online game, with different people joining and taking control of a person or even an animal.
Just imagine it. A football match could be the controllers form of ISS. The WWF could be the controllers playing their version of Smackdown. All of the extraordinary things that go in the world, like the paranormal, are just the controllers having fun with the characters in the game.

Maybe this could be the reason for criminal behaviour. When one of these controllers take over a person, they jsut want the person to destroy or murder, much like GTA3. When an animal suddenly goes crazy, it could be the controller making him go crazy, just for their personal enjoyment. Fights that break out in the middle of streets or in schools could be the work of someone seeking revenge on somebody else in the controllers world.
Ok then, so what about going about, doing everything in a normal day like working and sleeping. That could just be the Artificial Intelligence kicking in when somebody isn't contolling you, like the other characters in Shenmue. But when you do something out of the ordinary, that could be a controller manipulating your mind.

God, just imagine it. You are looking at the latest SR mag and are trying to choose your next game, when something weird comes over you. Suddenly, you pick up the phone, and order Army Men. Aaaaahhhhh! The terror.

Seems like quite a disturbing thought, and is probably one of the silliest things that I have ever thought of, but well, we all do something silly once in our life.

But just remember, when you look up and see a bird flying above you, it could be a controller.

I am sorry, I haven't seen Tron (at least I don't think I have), I have only seen clips of it. I shall make sure I watch it if it comes on Satellite again.

Tron easily gets my senseriry vote. But matrix has to win just on its graphical portrayal of the story compared to Tron. Tron was original. I'd admit that. Yet Matrix bought it to the next level.

Ahem, anyway, what if we are all really just here for

- That really scares me. It all depends whether you believe in atheistic views or fate. Prove there is a god - prove whe can be controlled. Prove that there ain't a god, and then we have to find out. Or we could all just be normal. We talking philosophical ideas here, mate.

Well I'm off to collect a power star and

- Do what? OK. I wont ask. Just get on with it, ok?

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
