there needs to be an alternative to energy bars. although there's no VISIBLE energy bar on SD4, there's probably a similar routine in place behind-the-scenes and if you're down for 15 seconds then 20 elbow drops later you're out of power=game over...

absolutely, they'll kick out of a piledriver and pin you after a drop toehold...
that's the energy bar system i mentioned above... i thought of a way round this using a single variable attatched to each move, but it must be flawed, after all, i can think of it and i'm not payed to come up with it so i'm sure the qualified guys know a reason not to use it..

What I meant was the downtime for certain moves i.e. I've knocked down an apponent with a quick knee drop and he was out for a three count pin. Ridiculous.

surely "realistic" downtime from being smashed in the skull with a sledgehammer is probably permanent... that wouldn't make an interesting game :)

Wrestling games rule.
If you work on the same arm over and over then you will find it easier to get a submission, they'll also loose the use of it for the rest of the match.
Also it's gonna be the first next-gen Wrestling game with blood.
Let's hope THQ can live up to their promises, Wrestlemania X8 sucked.
