Did anyone here take part in a Blue Peter Bikeathon?

www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/bluepeter/bikeathon/index.shtml

That's the address, too late to sign up, the event happened today. Anyway, I've just got back from Bushy Park in Hampton from my Bikeathon.

I raised £65 for Leukaemia and done the 2 mile circuit numerous times...

Overall, I rode 28 miles today, non stop. I had three small, and by small I mean small, glasses of orange juice, which tasted vile. I never had anything to eat either, so I'm starving right now. I left my house and rode 6 miles to the venue, when I done 8 circuits, a total of 16 miles, before being told I couldn't do anymore as they were leaving now. Then I done another 6 miles home. My back, hands and erm, arsé are like killing me. My legs are dead... But, I done it all in the good name of charity.

Anyone here do it then, and if yes, how much did you raise and how many miles did you cycle?

If it's for charity, I find it easier to do. Guess it's the idea of doing something good for once.

I haven't ever done a bikathon, but a few weeks ago I did a sponsored walk around the hills in the district for school. 15 miles, and it was easier than. All the weak people got a lift back after 5 miles. Made me wanna puke up.

I'm turning Japanese.

Blue Peter was only half decent when they did the recycling thing one year. The little counter thing was cooler than coolio

The Cheesy presenters rule.

I agree. Where on earth do they find those annoying presenters? Do they train them to be that annoying or are they born that way?
